Colored Contact Lenses

Colored contacts are very popular today, can dramatically change your appearance, and come in three main varieties:

Tinted contact lenses - these are translucent-colored contacts designed to enhance the existing color of your eyes, and are the most realistic when used by persons with lighter-colored eyes that want to make their eye color more intense.

Colored contact lenses - these are opaque-colored contacts designed to completely change the color of your eyes, from say brown to blue. Many colored contact lenses feature tiny dots and lines to mimic the iris of the eye.

Light-filtering contact lenses - these tinted contact lenses are big in sports and are designed to enhance or filter certain colors, such as yellow for tennis or amber for baseball.
