Halloween & Theatrical Contact Lenses

Theatrical contact lenses, special effects contact lenses and halloween contact lenses are just for novelty and are extensively used in the motion picture industry. These contacts feature different colors and shapes for a dramatic effect. Most halloween contact lenses have a clear center over the pupil so that you can see, although some do feature an opaque center as well - caution is advised when using any special effects contact lenses.

The most popular theatrical and fx contact lenses include the following:

  • Vampire contact lenses - feature a red iris and are a favorite for halloween
  • Zombie contact lenses - make the entire eye cloudy-white for that dead look
  • Reptile contact lenses - feature a vertical slit for the pupil
  • Sith contact lens - feature a red/orange iris as seen in the Star Wars movies
  • Glow in the dark contact lenses - these contacts glow under UV light
  • Mirrored contact lenses - made popular in the movies Riddick and Pitch Black
  • Black sclera contact lenses - make the entire eye black and seen in Hellraiser
  • Most theatrical contact lenses run between $200-300, slightly more for prescription lenses.
